Do you enjoy your life right now?

In a way yes, but also no. I’m happy that I’m going to be leaving highschool, and that I’m going to college. But I have this immense fear that nothing will go right in college, that I won’t make any friends, that I won’t do well in my classes. But I’m trying to stay positive. So here’s to doing well.

• Think of home; what did you picture first?

When I hear the word home, I have two images in my brain, the place that I’ve lived at since I was six, and also the rolling beaches of Oak Island, NC. North Carolina is truly the place that I have called home my entire life. All of my first memories are from NC, considering that most of my first years were spent going back and forth from Md to NC. I have wonderful memories of NC, the first time I went into the water, my first BBQ or hushpuppie. Even though I don’t live there currently, I have been told that I have a southern accent, and once I go down there it simply takes over. North Carolina is my home.

What is your favourite film to watch when you’re feeling down?

That would have to be aristocats. That has been my happy movie for as long as I can remember.

• If you were an animal, what would you be?

I’m a cat, no doubt in my mind. I can be lovely and decide to love you, or I can hate the world and you, or just ignore you and be amused by your stupidity.

• If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?

Hard question, either Barcelona or Oak Island, NC

• What is one thing you want to change about your body above all else?

I wish I was taller.

• What is one song that really speaks to you?

I really enjoy the song blame it on my youth by jamie cullum, it just tells me that I’m young, so it’s ok to make mistakes or fall in love.
